Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, expressed his condolences for two naval soldiers who lost their lives in a Houthi attack in Yemen while serving in the Arab coalition forces.
Mr. Aboul Gheit extended his wishes for a swift recovery to those wounded in the attack, praying for mercy and forgiveness upon the martyrs and to grant their families the strength to endure this difficult time.
The Secretary-General condemned the relentless Houthi attacks, despite the legitimate government's commitment to a truce and ceasefire. He held the Houthis responsible for the ongoing suffering of the Yemeni people, as they persistently reject all peace initiatives and instead continue with their path of violence and destruction.
