The Secretary-General praised the efforts of the initiative and affirmed his support for its objectives. Moreover, he offered insightful ideas that could further enable the continuation of all efforts and initiatives aimed at providing a decent standard of living for the people of Sudan during these trying circumstances.

The spokesman added that the Secretary-General emphasised he was closely following up on the living conditions of Sudanese citizens amid the far-reaching repercussions of the ongoing war.
