At the kind invitation of the National Media Office of the United Arab Emirates, His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, Assistant Secretary-General and head of the Media and Communication Sector at the League of Arab States, is participating in the Bridge 2025 Media Summit, scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi from 8 to 10 December. The summit will convene with the participation of senior officials and a distinguished group of thought leaders, media figures, content creators, influencers, and innovators, as well as producers in the television and film industries. Also in attendance will be heads and representatives of a range of Arab and international media outlets.

Ambassador Khattabi affirmed that the high calibre and diversity of participants, together with the nature of the issues on the agenda—particularly the future trajectories of media amid the convergence of artificial intelligence, technology, and innovation—make this summit an exceptional media forum for exchanging expertise and experiences and for building professional partnerships. The event brings together representatives from 132 countries within a programme comprising 300 specialised sessions and activities.

The head of the Media and Communication Sector further noted that this distinguished media event reflects the qualitative and advanced achievements of the media landscape in the United Arab Emirates. He added that it provides a valuable opportunity to showcase the competitive capabilities of national media in constructively engaging with the rapid transformations in the global media and digital environment, and in reinforcing its multidimensional mission, including the integration of creative industries into the framework of sustainable development and the promotion of values of openness, tolerance, and dialogue.
