The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States inaugurated an introductory training programme on the activities of the League's various sectors for a delegation of diplomats from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 9 November.
The programme was opened by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Saleh Al-Ajeeri, Assistant Secretary-General and head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector, who affirmed the importance of expanding such training initiatives and maintaining the organisation of introductory courses on the League of Arab States. The courses are designed to target Arab youth in general and diplomats from Arab countries in particular, with the aim of familiarising participants with the League's functions, operational mechanisms, decision-making processes, and positions on regional issues.
The programme runs from 9 to 13 November at the headquarters of the General Secretariat.
