The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States inaugurated the 2025 Summer Training Programme for University Students at its headquarters on 10 August. The programme is attended by a select group of university students from various Arab countries.

The month-long programme features a series of lectures and introductory activities presented by officials and experts from various sectors of the League. Among the most prominent lectures during the introductory week is one on the Arab national security sector, addressing current security challenges and coordination mechanisms between member states. Another lecture will focus on social affairs, highlighting the League's efforts in the fields of development, family, and women. In addition, an awareness session will be held on the electoral process and its role in consolidating democratic practices in Arab societies.
The programme also includes field visits within the General Secretariat headquarters, such as a tour of the Great Hall, as well as interactive sessions designed to enhance communication among students. The first week concludes with the allocation of trainees to various sectors and departments, marking the start of the specialised practical training phase.
