Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, Assistant Secretary-General and head of the Media and Communication Sector, received Mr. Ibrahim bin Nasser Al-Majhadi, the newly appointed Director of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Office in the Arab Republic of Egypt, on 19 June at the General Secretariat headquarters.
The meeting served as an opportunity to review the existing media cooperation between the Media and Communication Sector and the SPA Office in Cairo, as well as to explore avenues for diversifying and enhancing the Agency’s coverage of the League of Arab States’ activities across political, economic, social, and media domains. This collaboration aims to ensure consistent and effective visibility of the dynamism of joint Arab action, enhance the quality of Arab media content, and make better use of shared professional capacities—particularly through the exchange of expertise and experience, and by keeping pace with developments in the media and digital landscape.
