League Secretary-General welcomes UN roadmap for Libya

​The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, welcomed the political roadmap presented by Ms. Hanna Tetteh, head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), during her briefing to the Security Council on 21 August. The roadmap is designed to pave the way for the unification of Libyan institutions and the holding of presidential and legislative elections.
