Afifi announced that the Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit made a call this afternoon, the 4th of October, with Mr. Barham Salih to congratulate him for being elected as President of Iraq, expressing his satisfaction for the confidence granted to him by the Iraqi Parliament which led to winning the highest office.
